Pull A Sword Combat: Enemies and Zone Readiness

Assess enemy encounters without assuming that access guarantees readiness. Use the combat and zone guides to choose a useful task, then read the Slime, Goblin, or Zombie guide for a focused baseline, comparison, or diagnostic approach.

Make the next fight answer a question

Slimes, Goblins, and Zombies are enemy families in the game. Their names do not establish a universal difficulty order, a precise zone, or an attack pattern. Begin with an encounter you can access and interpret. The combat guide helps connect its outcome to preparation; the zone guide separates entering an area from making useful progress there.

The enemy articles use different editorial tasks: establish a baseline for a Slime encounter, compare readiness for a Goblin task, or diagnose an interrupted Zombie attempt. These are ways to organize your own observation, not claims that the families have undocumented special rules. Keep the question explicit and change only the relevant condition where possible. Continue when similar attempts serve the session, or review preparation before an unproductive retry.

Questions before you choose a route

Does reaching a zone prove I am ready for its fights?

Access and readiness are different checkpoints. Inspect an available encounter and assess its outcome before committing to a longer routine.

How should I compare preparation?

Keep the encounter as similar as possible and change one relevant factor. A different enemy and a different sword together produce a mixed comparison.
